Birth Support

I'm continuously intrigued and amazed by the ways in which birth unfolds and parents intuitively care for their babies. I believe every parent is the right parent for their baby and that we often just need a bit of encouragement to confidently trust what innately feels best to us as parents. This begins with your journey to conception, throughout pregnancy, and our years parenting our children. The invitation into your family's journey to parenting is a gift.
Supporting a birth through doula work is one part of that journey. When you invite a doula into a space, you are inviting in a witness to your birth and the process that unfolds with it. Often this looks like physical support through massage, position suggestions, heat and cold therapy, and many other techniques. It can also look like creating space for you and your support people to make decisions around your birth alongside your medical care team.
I attend births in both home and hospital settings and believe in a nonjudgemental philosophy when it comes to walking alongside mothers.

Kind Words from Past Clients:
“Hannah was a calm, safe presence during my labor that was invaluable to both me and my husband. Having gone through one delivery with a Doula and one without, we absolutely see the difference she made. I felt like I had an expert and a friend by my side the entire time. I also went into labor feeling informed and confident because of the time she spent teaching and empowering me during my third trimester. Hannah will always hold a very special place in my heart.”

“I cannot imagine our birth experience without Hannah. My labor did not go as planned and she was ready to jump in and help regardless of how it shifted. She was an amazing support prior to giving birth by helping me to determine our birth plan and talking through questions and options to consider as a first time mom. One of my favorite things about Hannah is how she voices her support. As you’re talking with her or even considering options during labor she always asks thoughtful questions in response to help you and your partner make a decision without just stating her opinion. She brought a calmness to the room during labor which was a welcomed presence… We will 100% be having her on our team for our next babies. I would highly recommend her to anyone pregnant!”
