Held- A Baby Wearing Meet Up
This free event is hosted by Held BHM every first Monday at Moxi in Homewood (9:30am - 11:00am).
Baby carriers are the OG “must have” for parenting, and rightfully so. This tool helps to facilitate an easeful transition into parenthood, whether you are snuggling your first or fourth baby. Just like with many skills baby wearing takes practice, patience, and attunement into the unique needs of the caregiver-baby dyad.
Our monthly meet-up holds a gentle container for caregivers to explore new carriers onsite through the growing baby carrier library, expand your community as you actively preserve the art of baby-wearing together, and build confidence and comfort in baby-wearing through community knowledge sharing.

Fit Checks
Bring your own carrier and practice positioning and tightening to ensure the best fit for you and your baby.
Try a New Carrier
Our library has 25+ carriers for you to try on. Not all carriers are one-size-fits-all, which means it’s helpful to know which type of carrier best fits your body before making a purchase.
Developmental Knowledge
As our babies grow and mature, they adapt how they respond to baby carriers and their positioning on your body. A deep understanding of how this may impact your baby-wearing journey is shared with each consultation.
All baby carrier rentals will be collected and returned during the Held - A Baby Wearing Meet-up events.

If the baby wearing meet up does not work for your schedule, or you prefer one-on-one support when it comes to baby wearing, feel free to use the link below to schedule a consultation.
Consultations allow you undivided support for you and other caregivers you choose to include. These may be scheduled in your home or a preferred public space.
